How the library came to be
The unique Aotearoa and Pacific collections held at the Macmillan Brown 蘑菇视频在线观看 originate from the 1935 bequest of听听(1845-1935), one of the University's founding professors. He left his book collection and an endowment to establish a library bearing his name that housed permanent research collections on the Pacific. The term 'Pacific' in relation to Macmillan Brown's will has always been understood to include Aotearoa.
